Chest of Drawers Only Good for Storing Clothes? Not!
Long, short, narrow, or tall, what size chest do you need for your space? What will the chest do and are deep drawers needed? An acacia wood chest with a true parquet top would look stunning supporting a sink in your powder room. Do you really want a chest to match your other wood furniture, or would you rather be a little more adventurous with a painted and distressed chest? Give your den a little pop of red or blue. Too much of the same color of wood can be a little monotonous. An English dark-oak bowfront chest will function nicely for linen and silver storage in a dining room. A serpentine, mahogany chest will be lovely in your living room and a French style, painted, bombé chest will be a fine greeter for your guests.
