Beds, Daybeds, Trundle Beds, and Headboards
Our beds include headboard, footboard, rails (generally wood), and slats (generally wood) that are fitted into the wood side rails and give extra support to the mattress and box springs. Beds are made for standard sized mattresses. Standard sized mattresses are as follows: Twin – 39” wide X 75” long, Full – 54” wide X 75” long, Queen 60” wide X 80” long, and King 76” wide X 80” long. A bed with headboard and footboard makes a big presence in a room.
A headboard takes up less space than a bed in a small room. Our “headboards” do not include the frame necessary for a mattress and box spring. This frame must be purchased elsewhere. We recommend that headboards be mounted to the wall using a French cleat or similar method used for mounting heavy mirrors.
Daybeds take a twin mattress. Sometimes our daybeds include the mattress, sometimes not. Please ask.
One popular daybed includes a trundle that slides out on wheels.
